Sharon Boyle

Artists are continually learning. I started early. My first art teacher was my Mother, Meg Roberts. As members of Art And Painting societies we live interesting and colorful lives. We teach and share and grow together. I like to be surrounded by creative individuals. We may paint in solitude but we grow when we can spend time with others who are traveling on the same journey. I paint images of children as they begin the journey of understanding the world around them. I have been an artist and a teacher all of my life. The inaugural teacher of the Watercolor Collaborative for the past ten years, in Prince William County Virginia and now a regular watercolor instructor with the Smithsonian Associates in Washington, D.C. I teach interested adults to explore the joys of watercolor painting.
